Offhand 24x30'; vertically.

What to charge is very hard to determine, always.

Maybe go with your first inclinations and double it, if you think they'll pay that. Try not to charge too cheaply.

You might try doing a bit of research, quietly. Ask how much the foundation, or the organization next door, usually pays for paintings, or any similar items.Good size to paint an oil portrait?
Your prices are pretty low on your web site. Your painting could be 24';x30'; vertical. Be careful not to make it bigger than life, that tends to make it look creepy. I like the work on your site, you should charge between 35-75 dollars an hour, plus materials, plus miscellaneous. Maybe $450.00-$700.00, judge your client, if you like them , if it's good exposure, etc...then adjust accordingly.
