I do I need ventilation for a water-mixable oil paints work space (I use Turpenoid).?

I smell the paints but I'm not sure if that's a problem or not?? It's so windy - I sometimes can't leave a window open when painting.I do I need ventilation for a water-mixable oil paints work space (I use Turpenoid).?
I dont think its that big of a deal. It is basically a substitute to turpentine. Because its less strong and less hazardous.I do I need ventilation for a water-mixable oil paints work space (I use Turpenoid).?
In my opinion, turpenoid fumes are as bad as turpentine (just because it is odorless doesn't mean it isn't there, so turpentine alerts you to when you are getting too much).

I teach all painting at a university and we prohibit all but Gamsol by Gamblin.

But the bigger question is: ';Why do you buy water based oils if you're not going to use water?';
