in the US the prices vary wildly based on brand, quality, saturation (amount of pigment versus filler actually ';ground'; into the oil vehicle) and whether you are buying actual true pigments or ';hue'; pigments. Tubes with the word ';hue'; on them mean the color is not actually the color named but is a substitute of lesser cost that looks mostly like the true pigment. ';Hue'; in effect means ';Kind of similar.'; So- student grade paints can run from 4.00 - 8.00 for earth tone (umbers, siennas, ocres) to 10.00 to 20.00 for cadmiums, cobalts and ceruleans and such. The professional grade tubes, again depending on brand and pigment can run from 6.00 to 8.00 for earths to 80.00+ for rare pigment colors, but will generally fall in the 20.00 - 30.00 range.
There about 12 bucks for the good quality kinds. Theres a website. Im not sure which kind you want. There are some with sticks and sets and ya. Check the web out.
