How to clean oil paint brushes?! please help!?

hey, i painted with oil paints and i was wondering how to clean my brushes. the thing is that i dont have any terpentine or anything like that so i was wondering if you had any home remedys like dish soap or something like that? thankyou so much! How to clean oil paint brushes?! please help!?
I use natural baby oil and paper towles/an old rag to clean my brushes and it works great! You can also use baby oil to clean your hands. It's much better than turpentine because it's healthier for you and the environment and keeps your brushes soft and moist! You could also use any other kind of beauty oil or plain mineral oil. You can even use vegetable oil if you don't have baby oil. Just remember to throw the paper towels/rag in the garbage when you are done. Don't wash brushes or rags in the sink because the paint/medium you used will go into our water system which is really terrible for the environment and our health! How to clean oil paint brushes?! please help!?
Well,....oil paint requires a oil thinner. dish soap only works after you clean the actual paint off the brush with an oil based thinner,....I'm thinking here that you are a female?.......and maybe you possibly have some fingernail cleaner. or if you have a male friend who works on cars and maybe has some mechanicl hand cleaner like ';Super Orange'; jand cleaner because it is Lanoline based cleaner that is made from pressing oil out of wool, it is therefore made out of that wool oil, they don't tell you that but it's true....so it will work to help clean your brushes.....or, maybe you have a quart of engine oil in the garage for your car, that too will clean your brushes but it too needs to be further cleaned with dish soap or better yet, powder washing machine soap that you'd use for clothes,.....use any oil based type chemical first and only then use soap.....I hope that helps.
U need turpentine or paint thinner or Pinesol cleaner. U can get all 3 of these at the hardware store.
