Are water-based oil paint fumes toxic?

It is still toxic but with the least worry compared to the normal oil paint, simply because the water based mean that you use water as the solvent. (not Turpentine.)

To begin with, you should never try to sniff its fume.

make sure that there is an air circulation whenever you paint.

Open your door, open the window. Put in the window, some kind of fan blowing backward (the fan actually sucks the air in your room and throw it outside).

Other than that, i don't really think you need a mask.

Even if you want to use a mask, ordinary mask (like the medical people or the construction worker wear is not sufficient cause it only protect you from inhaling dust. If you really2 want to be careful, then buy the one with charcoal filter -but again, I wouldn't since it's expensive)

PS: YOU SHOULD NEVER USE OIL PAINTS OR ACRYLIC PAINTS TO BE SPRAYED. IT IS HIGHLY HIGHLY TOXIC. PAINTS CONTAINS LEAD.

ESPECIALLY TITANIUM WHITE. TRUST ME, YOU DO NOT WANT TO INHALE LEADS.Are water-based oil paint fumes toxic?
all paint fumes should be considered toxic--

(none of them are good for you)

use a fan, or if spraying, wear a respirator
