Is Behr paint oil or water based?

I'm going to paint the inside of my house for the first time. I've never painted before, but I know I want water based paint. That would mean it's acrylic or latex, not enamal, right?

Most all house paint you buy now days is water based. Oil based paints are still available but they are not very popular.





Latex, Acrylic, and Enamal can all be water based paint.





Just read the label it will say ';water clean up'; or something like that.
they make oil and water base. You specify which one you want. Usually most paint is water based unless you ask for oil. which is mainly for outdoors.
Latex is water base. If it is oil then it will say oil on the can. Behr ultra is water base.
