How do you identify a biblical oil painting?

I have a jpeg of an oil painting- I'm sure it's biblical, but don't know how to begin to identify the artist or the name of the painting.

I think it might be Samson and Deliliah and it looks as though it is by a Victorian artist, maybe one of the Pre-Raphaelites.
