Can I use Boysen oil tinting colors for oil painting?

I think they're cheaper. I cannot afford artists' oil color for now.Can I use Boysen oil tinting colors for oil painting?
Those are for tinting house paint. I'm sure they're cheaper than artists' oils, but it's anyone's guess whether they will perform the function you want them to. If you have some on hand, give them a try. I wouldn't go out and buy all the colors just to experiment, though. That would be money that might be better spent on real art supplies, even if not on oils.
